My 16 year old son Scott just completed his science project for the Roanoke Valley Governor’s School project forum that will be held tomorrow at the Patrick Henry High School.

Scott conducted an experiment demonstrating how to increase methane production for power generation by adding readily available organic waste materials like leaves, wood chips, saw dust, and old newspaper to the sludge at the Western Virginia Water Authority.
